Indigenous Merit Register

The Indigenous Merit Register provides a current listing of merit lists or candidate pools for APS roles advertised under the Affirmative Measure – Indigenous employment.

Agencies can use the register to determine a similar vacancy and make contact with the relevant agency for further details of the merit list or pool.

The agency who initially advertised the vacancy is responsible for ensuring they have the applicants’ agreement for their details to be shared.  Further information on the sharing of merit lists is available in the Recruitment: Management essentials.

Agencies wishing to register a merit list or pool:

  1. Complete the Indigenous Merit Register Form    
  2. Send the completed form to indigenous [at] apsc.gov.au   
  3. Agencies are responsible for advising the Commission if contact information changes
